The Eskwelabs Innovation Fellowship (EIF)—formerly known as the Education Innovation Fellowship—was launched in 2023 to identify and develop emerging talent aligned with Eskwelabs’ mission: equipping people to succeed in the future of work.
The EIF is a project-based internship program designed for individuals who want real-world experience building, designing, analyzing, and supporting meaningful work. Fellows contribute directly to Eskwelabs’ internal initiatives across data, AI, design, strategy, learning, media, and community, while developing practical skills guided by mentors and leads.
Unlike traditional internships, EIF is track-based and sprint-driven. Fellows choose a focused track, work on real projects in structured sprints, receive regular feedback and check-ins, and build outputs they can confidently include in their portfolio.
We welcome applicants from all courses and backgrounds. What matters most is curiosity, commitment, and a willingness to learn. Through the EIF, Fellows gain:
For many, EIF becomes a potential launchpad: from learner → contributor → future collaborator, mentor, or team member. Wherever your path leads next, EIF is designed to help you take that step with clarity and confidence.

The calendar contains the meetings you will be attending, and you will be able to nurture and develop various skills via learning by doing with your participation and on the projects you get deployed on.
There will also be a number of Learning Circles where you are required to attend, which will teach you more skills and knowledge, depending on the topic, from accomplished figures in the Eskwelabs Community.
Eskwelabs HR and Management Systems will assess your application, interview response, interest, strengths and weaknesses, in order to match you with the best possible project for you. Your EIF Lead will also assign you other projects and tasks, depending on the requirements that will complete your internship.
