Upskilling across different skill levels that exist in the data value chain
Our Story &
How We Innovate
We inspire, equip and connect people to the future of work through data skills.
While the upskilling challenge is not new, we focus on innovating in our regional context through:
Fixing downsides of online education like that it’s unstructured, not job relevant and impersonal
Building the talent ecosystem and a community for lifelong learning as skill needs continue to change

We build learning experiences that put people first. We innovate on education practices to improve their outcomes but we also strive to make learning more personal. We aim to design inclusion into educational opportunities. We listen to feedback from learners. We treat ourselves as learners also, with the same empathy and care as we do for our external learners. We provide a safe space for questions, feedback and crazy ideas.
We design the online classroom for engagement, connection, and friendships. We aim to humanize data skills through the stories of our learners. Internally, we’re not afraid to celebrate wins and learn from failures. We show up for each other through effective collaboration. We build long-term relationships with ecosystem and community partners and go the extra mile to help each other succeed.
Passion for Impact
We leverage social enterprise models to sustain our impact. We seek to build societal capacity to use data skills. We expose our learners to data for good opportunities and data ethics, and support our alumni to grow into leaders for positive impact. We encourage our learning communities to contribute to open-source and civic projects.
