What is the Study Now Pay, Later feature? For Data Analytics Bootcamp students and Data Science Fellowship students who are interested in financing the cost of their tuition with the added support of a loan provider (aka a financing partner), then we’re happy to announce that Bukas is a loan provider for both the Data Analytics Bootcamp and the Data Science Fellowship. With Bukas Tuition Installment Plans , you can stretch your program fees to 12 or 18 months!‍

Who is Bukas? Why have we partnered with them?

What are the requirements? 

As a Borrower, aside from your personal information, you will need to prepare:

• One (1) government-issued valid ID
• One (1) proof of residence 
• Your Eskwelabs contract
• Additional Contact Person
  

As a co-borrower, aside from your personal and employment information, you may need to prepare:

• One (1) school ID or any valid ID
• One (1) proof of residence 
• One (1) proof of billing
  

Either the borrower and co-borrower, or both, will need to provide a source of income

Additional Notes about Requirements:

To apply for a Bukas installment plan:

1. You, your co-borrower, and additional contact person must be Filipino citizens residing in the Philippines
2. You, your co-borrower, and additional contact person must be at least 18 years old
3. The student must be enrolled at Eskwelabs 

Please prepare the following for your Bukas application: 

1. Proof of acceptance to the program (Eskwelabs contract)
2. Active mobile number and email address
3. Either the borrower and co-borrower, or both, will need to provide a source of income
4. You and/or your co-borrower will need to prepare your valid IDs and proof of residence
5. Proof of down payment to Eskwelabs (only applicable to the Data Science Fellowship)

Can I pay in advance?

Yes! You can pay more than your monthly dues. Any excess payment will be deducted from the succeeding monthly dues. 

You also have the option to pre-terminate your Tuition Installment Plan. Pre-termination is the process of fully paying your loan or your plan even before the maturity of your loan contract. Take note that the maturity of your contract is the same as the last repayment date on your payment calendar. By availing this, you may be eligible for rebates!

Excluding loan interest, the total loan amount is Php 35,840. The monthly payment depends on your plan with Bukas.

Rates may vary per application and may depend on your chosen tenor. 

Interest rates start at 1.20% per month and 0% one-time service fee. Submit an application at app.bukas.ph to know the specific rate and fees applicable to you! Interest rates start at 1.50% per month and 0% one-time service fee. Submit an application at app.bukas.ph to know the specific rate and fees applicable to you! General Bukas FAQs about the Study Now, Pay Later feature

What are the requirements?

As a Borrower, aside from your personal information, you will need to prepare:

What if I want to pay my fees in less than 12 months?

You may opt to pre-terminate your contract or pay the full amount earlier and you will even receive rebates. Just email Bukas before making your last deposit if you plan to pre-terminate your account so they can send you a recalculated amount that reflects your rebates.

Can I pay the first 3 months’ fees all at once?

Yes, you may make advance payments if you wish. Any amount paid in excess to a certain month’s due date will be credited as an advance payment for the following months.

What if I pay my monthly fees late?

There is a 5% late fee for the unpaid past due amount.

How do I keep track of my payments and ensure I don’t miss my due dates?

Once your plan is activated, there is an online tracker for your completed payments and monthly dues and deadlines on the Bukas website.
