Eskwelabs recently had the privilege of participating in the 2024 3ZERO Assembly, an inspiring gathering in the Philippines that marked five years of collaboration toward a future of zero exclusion, zero carbon, and zero poverty. This assembly united changemakers, innovators, and organizations, all working towards a shared goal—a sustainable and inclusive future by 2050.
At the heart of this year’s discussions was the pivotal role of education. As Ilan Enverga from the International School for Better Beginnings aptly noted, “Education is the only thing that can unlock all three zeroes.” This sentiment was echoed throughout the event, highlighting the importance of equipping the next generation with the skills they need for both the future of work and life.
Eskwelabs proudly shared its contributions to this vision. We emphasized our commitment to making education accessible through our Data Analytics and Data Science bootcamps, where we provide scholarships to aspiring learners. This initiative aims to empower individuals with skills that drive data-driven decisions, envisioning a future where 90% of government agencies and all public schools have access to the internet and AI.
The assembly also explored the need for interdisciplinary thinking in education. Daniel Ratilla from the Ateneo Institute of Sustainability stressed the importance of teaching kids to become versatile thinkers. Aurelien added that a shift is needed in how we measure work quality, while Angeli R. from makesense highlighted the role of civic action in fostering a just society.
As the event concluded, it was clear that the journey towards 3ZERO is a collaborative effort, and Eskwelabs is proud to be part of this transformative movement. By investing in education and innovation, we are helping to build a world where opportunities are abundant, the environment thrives, and no one is left behind.
